That's an excellent question! I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you. I recommend contacting the creator of the WordPress Iubenda plugin to find out more about the GTM script and how it is banned. You may also look into [LINK-DELETED-BY-MODERATOR] to see if they have any suggestions or ideas that could be useful. Best wishes!

hello
Please add this.
Hi everyone,
we understand there may be some uncertainty surrounding the methods for blocking GTM (Google Tag Manager). To help you navigate and make sense of it, we’ll do our best to break down some of the approaches available in regard to this specific topic.
To start off, GTM can be blocked with the iubenda All-in-one Compliance – WordPress plugin, in fact there is a specific checkbox that can be found in the cookie solution settings of the plugin: https://personal.iubenda.com/sahar.amini/Screen-Shot-2024-01-04-11-07-34.png
Automatic blocking of GTM via the plugin however will assign gtm a certain category, it means that accepting purpose 2 you will release all the gtm tags - also tags belonging to different categories. So we kindly ask you to bear in mind that gtm can release different tags (tags created by the user) that can install cookies belonging to different purposes.
Keeping this in mind, we encourage our users to refer to the mentioned method at https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/1235-google-tag-manager-blocking-cookies for a more accurate approach. This allows every user to apply a proper purpose to every gtm tag and release only the "tags" belonging to accepted purposes. With that being said, we kindly remind you the importance of consulting with your legal advisor to ensure complete clarity regarding your compliance requirements.
We hope this has been helpful, though of course, if anything should remain unclear, please do not hesitate to comment here or reach out to our customer support.
Kind regards,
Sahar

What specific configurations or settings within the Iubenda plugin should be double-checked to ensure that Google Tag Manager scripts are properly blocked, and are there any known compatibility issues with certain themes or other plugins that might interfere with its functionality?
