If I use either Squarspaces video block for an embed or the code block using YouTubes code including enhanced privacy mode the embed does not display the video unless I accept all cookies
Is there a way to avoid this happening?

This behaviour is normal if you use our Autoblocking feature, if you want to be compliant.
Anyway you can follow 2 different approaches:
- Show an automatic message in place of blocked scripts (for ultimate plans) https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/104812-how-to-display-a-notice-in-place-of-pre-blocked-scripts
- You can instruct the autoblocking to whitelist Youtube videos, as explained here: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/153445-what-to-do-when-the-automatic-blocking-mode-is-blocking-too-much
For example by adding the attribute data-cmp-ab="2" to the Youtube script.
