Hi Mikel, Those sound like interesting additions. Please allow a while for them to be integrated however. Follow up question for sendwithus, this looks like an entirely self-hosted solution? Just from looking at it, I would suggest you disclose the third party ESP that actually handles the personal data by your users (email addresses). Does that make sense or am I missing something here?

Hi Simon, Thanks for looking into the new additions. SendWithUs is not self-hosted, it's a 3rd party service. Transactional emails are triggered via an API (thorugh which you pass recipient details plus any number of variables you wish to define), and then they use your choice of ESP to facilitate the actual send. Benefits for its use over a bare-bones ESP are its powerful templating, AB Testing, analytics, translation and drip campaign features. So, in a nutshell, it does actually handle and store user data...it stores a database of "customers" to which we send our transactional emails, including a variety of custom info that we can chose to pass through via the API. These custom variables are usually used for dynamic variables and conditional logic within the email templates. Hope that explanation helps a bit! Hi again Mike, Thanks for the insights, that changes my earlier assessment. I'll have to see how it fits with the rest of the clauses. Your fastest way forward is still with integrating it in a custom declaration. Mike, I've followed up with Muut since they have no publicly visible privacy policy. I'll keep you in the loop, their support has gotten in touch with me. I'm not sure how long this will take from their side. Best, Simon
