Google vision service

The Google Vision API can be used to figure out what's in the picture. It can recognise objects, text, faces, landmarks, etc. It can also id people to match them with other pictures. https://cloud.google.com/vision/

  • Bump - please could you add Google Vision API into this - it's a key service for us

  • This would be a great addition!

The official name of the service is Google Cloud Vision AI.

I currently explain it using: The Google Cloud Vision AI is a service that analyzes image files to gain insights about the content of the images.

They also have a Data Usage FAQ which would be helpful to be included: https://cloud.google.com/vision/docs/data-usage

The place of processing is of course the same as for all other Google service.
