Personal Data (PD) and Non-Person Data (NPD) distinction

In the US, for Privacy Policies, it seems that they all use the terms Personal Data (PD) and Non-Personal Data (NPD). I see a lot of "Personal Data" in your Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, but I don't see any distinction of Non-Personal Data (NPD). So there is the actual distinction that is important, but it also seems that the terms/abbreviations have become important, at least in the US. Any plans to make updates in this area?
