Is the "Google Play Store" service also for Google Play Games/Google Play Games Service?

I couldn't find the service for Google Play Games/Google Play Games Services but I noticed the Google Play Store service states the purpose is for "platform services and hosting". So, would I use the Google Play Store service if my app uses Google Play Games Services or create a custom service for GPG/GPGS?

There are a few post from other users requesting GPG/GPGS but there are no response.
