Customize the Tracking Preferences popup

We are currently evaluating the iubenda Cookie Solution. We have created our custom banner and have enabled “per category consent”. This works fine and shows us the following page:

We would like to customize the look and feel of this section. Our legal team would like to

  • Change the text shown on top of the page (“The following panel…”)
  • Change the description for the individual categories (“These tracked are used for activities …”
  • Change the colour of the buttons to be aligned with our website

  • I could really use this feature! The blue and green buttons are really jarring with my branding.

  • Hello and thank you for your question.

In order to edit the text of the Tracking Preferences popup you can use the library i18n as explained in our dedicated guide: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/1205-how-to-configure-your-cookie-solution-advanced-guide#i18n here you can find an example with codes: https://codepen.io/iubenda/pen/eYmQRXx?editors=1000 and here you can find a screenshot for more clarity: https://dsh.re/f83bd

If you wish to customise the look of the Tracking Preference Panel you can use custom CSS as explained below:

Please find the CSS classes to use: https://dsh.re/071f74

This is the result of the above CSS: https://dsh.re/08fa13

Do not hesitate to contact us again if you need more information or assistance.

  • Hi,

Is possible to totally customize the tracking preference popup? Colours, Buttons, to remove header? I can't overrides the classes in the popup, maybe is not possible with a free account but only with a premium license?

    Thanks

  • For the EU, you must abide by long-standing rules on cookies and tracking as well as GDPR, which may be addressed in your privacy statement for a straightforward website like this one. Additionally, you ought to join up for Mailchimp as a double rather than a single opt-in.
