Yoast Seo Premium & Wp Rocket

Hi, Hi, I'm using the Yoast Seo Premium & Wp Rocket plugin for WordPress, but it blocks my 2 sites, either accepting or refusing cookies.

If both of them are deleted, the site goes down. Please tell me the solution or its replacement. You can see below the screenshot of the issue of sites.

  • Bro use only one plugin for one task, don't use multiple plugins for one task. I recommend you to use only WP Rocket or only Yoast. Otherwise this issue persists.

  • But Michael, the two plugins do different things. WP Rocket is a caching plugin and Yoast is an SEO plugin. Kitty, can you provide some more info please? Do you get any other error message than the 403?

  • You might want to check the compatibility settings between Yoast SEO Premium and WP Rocket on your website. Sometimes, adjusting the caching settings in WP Rocket or reconfiguring cookie consent options in Yoast can resolve conflicts. If the issue persists, consider reaching out to their support teams for specific guidance or look for alternative plugins that offer better integration.

  • To resolve this, you can try disabling the cookie consent feature in WP Rocket or use a dedicated cookie consent plugin like CookieYes or Complianz to manage cookies without conflicts. If the issue persists, consider clearing your cache or contacting support for both plugins for further assistance.

The issue you're experiencing with Yoast SEO Premium and WP Rocket blocking your sites when cookies are accepted or refused may be due to a misconfiguration in caching or cookie handling. Here's the solution:

Check WP Rocket Settings: Ensure that the "Cache lifespan" is set appropriately and enable the "Separate cache files for mobile devices" option to avoid conflicts. Go to WP Rocket > File Optimization, and make sure you exclude JavaScript handling cookie banners or scripts.

Yoast SEO Configuration: Verify that there are no settings affecting the cookie policy plugin. Disable and re-enable the integration to reset potential conflicts.

Conflict Testing: Temporarily disable all plugins except WP Rocket and Yoast SEO. Activate them one by one to identify the exact cause.

Cookie Banner Plugin: If you're using a cookie banner plugin, exclude its scripts from WP Rocket optimization in the "Exclude JavaScript Files" section.

Clear Cache and CDN: Purge all caches in WP Rocket and any CDN you're using, such as Cloudflare.

Alternative Solution: If the conflict persists, consider replacing WP Rocket with LiteSpeed Cache (if your hosting supports LiteSpeed) or replacing Yoast SEO Premium with Rank Math SEO Pro.

Debugging: Enable WordPress debug mode to capture specific error messages and share them with plugin support for a detailed resolution.

Following these steps should resolve the issue. If it doesn't, contact WP Rocket or Yoast SEO Premium support for tailored assistance based on the error details.

  • I almost forgot! You can use Rank Math insted of WP Rocket.

  • To address cookie issues between Yoast SEO Premium and WP Rocket, consider disabling the cookie consent feature in WP Rocket or using a dedicated plugin like CookieYes or Complianz for better cookie management. Additionally, check for any plugin conflicts and ensure both plugins are updated to their latest versions. Troubleshooting Steps for Yoast SEO Premium & WP Rocket menu
