Hotjar provide the following;

Surveys

Polls

Analytics

Session recording

Livechat

Is it possible to add them to the service list? They provide multiple services into one program which is extremely cheap, so I imagine a lot of people will be using this.

Hi James,

Is HotJar a relatively new tool, or why are you saying it will be popular?

The problem with it is that since it covers 3-4 purposes we’ll have to divide it into a couple of services which is going to take some time to implement. Are you, for example, using it for all of these purposes?

cheers,

Simon

Hi Simon,

Hotjar is in Beta testing at the moment.

I say it will be popular because it combined multiple services (that combined cost $300+ per month) into a tool that costs less than $30/month (I forget the actual price).

I signed up to the beta waiting list several months ago and was in position 41k, I now have access to the beta but haven’t started using it yet. I would think there’s probably 100k people using it by now.

I’ll be able to make use of everything except for the Live Chat, though I may be able to use that in the future.

If Iubenda can’t incorporate it, is there an option to manually enter the data in myself?

Thanks,

James

Thanks for the clarifications James,

I’m not saying we can’t do it, upon first inspection it may just be a little more complicated. I will have to take a closer look when I have time to add some new services.

Regarding your question, yes you can add it yourself by doing

http://iubenda.com/dashboard > edit/add privacy policy > add service > create custom service

Let me know if you have any questions regarding it. When do they launch out of beta? Is it known?

Best, Simon

I use https://www.hotjar.com too

but for the moment for only heatmap and funnel.

hotjar.com is interesting because add a FREE Basic Plan!

hotjar.com is no longer in beta.

Currently I don’t use these services:

Surveys

Polls

Session recording

Livechat

but in the future I might use them.

Is it possible to add them to the service list ?

at least as regards heatmap and funnel services.

Privacy Policies for heatmap and funnel should not deviate too much from a classic analytics software.

Also from the panel and dashboard, I see that I have the number of visitors who access a heatmap and where they click, but there is no trace of the individual it via IP or more data. so if you only use heatmap and funnel , without any individual data and IP tracking , I do not think this is cookies profiling .

So, is it possible to add at least heatmap and funnel to the iubenda service list ?

Best regards,

Lorenzo.

Una sorta di analytics che analizza i click dell’utente che visita il sito.

Grazie

Support missing for this service,

thank you

Salve Des,

non abbiamo ancora fatto questa integrazione con Hotjar. Ti segnalo comunque, che sta sulla lista e ci penseremo.

Intanto, ti serve di fare una integrazione manuale così:

http://iubenda.com/dashboard > modificare/aggiungere privacy policy > Aggiungi servizio > Crea servizio manualmente

Aggiorniamo qui con ulteriori informazioni se finiamo l’integrazione. Spero di esserti stato d’aiuto?

Hey there, Hotjar is on our list. But it will take some time until we are ready.

In the meantime consider adding it manually like so

http://iubenda.com/dashboard > edit/add privacy policy > add service > create custom service

I will update this thread with more information as I have it. Hope this helps?

Simon

Hi james,

I apologize for the delay of my answer but we have received a huge number of requests - by mail and on all our other channels - that did not allow us to respond anywhere in time.

Anyway, about your request, we inform you that the service is just on the list to be uploaded in the generator services list so stay tuned with the iubenda newsletter to be always updated.

In the meanwhile, you can insert the service using the “manual service” function so when you find something is missing from the generator you can add a custom service to finalize your privacy policy on top of our framework.

The custom service is nothing else than additional data collection in your own words that you can’t say with our pre-made clauses. It will automatically be integrated into the privacy policy text. Read this article for further info: http://www.iubenda.com/en/help/posts/386 .

Anyway do not hesitate to contact us for any further question or doubt.

Kind regards,

Fabio

Hi,I recently started using HotJar ( http://hotjar.com ) and it isn’t in your list.

Please could you add it?

Many thanks.

Hi there Lorraine,

Hotjar has been on our list for a while, and we’ll integrate it eventually. However it’s fairly complicated in the sense that it does everything and that doesn’t work too well with our system yet.

You can describe exactly what Hotjar does for you in a custom service, that should work. I’m copy-pasting the instructions below:

http://iubenda.com/dashboard > edit/add privacy policy > add service > create custom service

I will update this thread with more information as I have it. Hope this helps?

Simon
