Complianz - Token Status: Error

Regarding the Token Status: Error you are seeing during the Website Scan.

First, please double-check the email address you entered for confirmation and ensure there are no capital letters anywhere in the address. Even a single uppercase letter can sometimes cause the token validation to fail.

If the email formatting is correct, I recommend trying the verification again using an incognito or private browsing window with all browser extensions disabled. This helps rule out any interference from caching or security plugins in your browser that might be blocking the token.

If neither of those steps resolves the error, a clean installation of the plugin is the most reliable way to reset the connection. To do this safely:
  1. Go to Complianz > Tools > Data.
  2. Check the box that says "Clear all data when deleting Complianz".
  3. You can click "Export" in this same section first to save your current settings.
  4. Uninstall the plugin from your WordPress dashboard and then reinstall it.
  5. Once reinstalled, you can use the "Import" tool in the same Data section to restore your configuration and try the scan again.
