Whenever you find that our scanner provides you with some irrelevant results regarding adding another language, embedding our solutions or perhaps a service that is missing from your Privacy and Cookie Policy that you might not be using, it's important to remember the following:
1) Our scanner does not substitute legal advice. It is a powerful tool, but remains a one-size-fits-all tool that isn't specfically tuned to your domain;
2) Whenever the scanner finds English text on your domain, that could already be a motive for which it suggests you to add the English language to your legal documentation as we intend to simply make you aware of potential compliance issues. This could be triggered by a few simple English keywords that you use in your native language for example. It's up to you whether you deem the action itself necessary or not;
3) Our scanner can find services that have been uninstalled for a while due to remains of scripts or cookies. It is also possible that the scanner finds services used by your hosting provider for example, so that may be the reason why we suggest you to add certain services to your legal documents even if you don't use them directly yourself.
In extreme cases it could also happen that our scanner report includes incorrect information due to a specific website setup that throws off the scanner, although this is a very rare occurence.
