How terminated subscriptions and account credits function

In case you have paid for a subscription and would like to transfer the remaining value of that subscription to another project, or perhaps you've accidentally deleted a project and thus its subscription, this is how account credits work for your iubenda account:

You have paid for either a monthly or a yearly iubenda subscription, and each day the passes diminishes the remaining value of that subscription. The remaining value of the subscription is always preserved in cases where you delete the project and thus subscription, and gets accredit to your account. This is done so that you don't have an active subscription which was dedicated to a specific project, while that project got terminated, meaning the subscription would just lose value day after day without any motive. You can find details about any outstanding credit on your "Account & Billing info" page.

Should you have an upcoming renewal, it'll automatically use account credits first. The same goes for new purchases, in the order checkout screen (after having selected a payment method!) you'll find a big green box explaining how account credit is being used and how it influences the purchase.

Please keep in mind that within our legacy pricing model, the multi-license subscription style functions differently, deleting a specific project would simply free up the relevant license slots on your account meaning that you can immediately use them for another project, but the subscription itself won't be terminated.
